I was reading the History and I am remembering that we all voted on the name Sherman's and that was what we called Mr. C.L. Schweinfurth, General Sherman. He and the team of 1946 were the first County Champs. Then I have heard many stories about the first Tank used at the school, Rudy Tennant (Class of 1947) and I built the first one and used it at the Basketball games to send out the towels and other things.
